Kris Krüg

Whenever there is a Biodiversity Galiano event Kris is often on the scene. His photography thus features widely throughout this website. As a project contributor since day one, he has documented a wide array of lifeforms, including plants, amphibians, mammals and birds—as well as numerous marine species found nearby his home on Active Pass. Among his favourite creatures are salamanders, nudibranchs & mushrooms.

Contributing Photographer at National Geographic, Kris is a passionate creative technologist from California, USA. Recent publications include: Rolling Stone, Business Week, USA Today, the LA Times, and various other online and print publications, including Wikipedia. Kris avidly attends technological conferences and is currently working on several creative projects. Among them: teaching and consulting about the internet, online community & digital media.
